So, with a long weekend on the way, we have brought together some brilliant Belgian brews that keep the character while leaving most or all of the alcohol behind.

Vedett Extra 0.0 brings Vedett’s crisp Belgian pilsner character into a fully alcohol free 0.0% bottle. Light, clean and properly refreshing, it keeps the easy drinking feel of a classic pilsner while skipping the alcohol.
It pours pale straw with fine bubbles and a thin white head. Expect fresh pilsner aroma, subtle malt notes, gentle hop character from Saaz hops and a smooth, balanced finish.
This is a no fuss fridge beer for lunches, BBQs, match nights and relaxed alcohol free drinking. Serve it well chilled with burgers, pizza, chips, grilled food or salty snacks.

Gageleer 0.0% is a Belgian alcohol free blond beer with a fresh, gently herbal character. Brewed with gale, also known as bog myrtle, it brings something a little different to the alcohol free beer fridge.
It pours pale yellow with a white head and fine bubbles. The aroma is fruity and malty, with subtle spicy notes from the gale and yeast. On the palate it is soft, lightly sweet and easy drinking, with low bitterness and a balanced refreshing finish.

Ter Dolen IPA Op De Dool is a Belgian alcohol free IPA with proper hop character and a refreshing bitter edge. Brewed by Kasteelbrouwerij De Dool, it brings the feel of a modern IPA into a lighter 0.3% bottle.
Dry hopping gives it subtle citrus and grapefruit notes, while the malt base keeps it rounded and drinkable. It is powerful and bitter, but still accessible, making it a great choice if you want an alcohol free beer with more bite than a standard lager.
Serve it chilled when you want something fresh, hoppy and satisfying without the full strength alcohol. It works nicely with burgers, pizza, tacos, BBQ food, spicy dishes and salty snacks.

Ter Dolen IPA Op De Dool - Alcohol Free Belgian IPA

Ter Dolen Kriek Op De Dool is a bright Belgian alcohol free kriek with plenty of cherry character and a soft, easy drinking finish. Brewed by Kasteelbrouwerij De Dool, it brings the sweet, fruity charm of a classic kriek into a lighter 0.3% bottle.
Expect rich cherry aroma, a deep fruity flavour and a gentle sweet and sour balance. It has a soft body, lively sparkle and a refreshing finish, with coriander and orange peel adding a subtle Belgian beer twist in the background.
This is a great choice if you want an alcohol free beer that is fruitier, brighter and more playful than a standard lager or IPA. Serve it chilled with chocolate desserts, fruit puddings, cheese, BBQ food or salty snacks.

Ter Dolen Kriek Op De Dool - Alcohol Free Belgian Kriek

Cornet Oaked Alcohol Free brings the smooth, rounded character of Cornet Oaked into a lighter alcohol free blond beer. Brewed at 0.3% ABV, it is made from the powerful blond Cornet Oaked, with the alcohol removed and the beer oaked again with oak chips.
That extra oak treatment gives it a distinctive soft wood character, with a gentle vanilla note and a smooth creamy finish. It is fuller and more rounded than a simple lager, making it a good choice if you want an alcohol free Belgian beer with a bit more depth.
Serve it chilled at around 6 to 8°C in a stemmed beer glass to bring out the oak, malt and vanilla character. It works nicely with roast chicken, cheese, grilled vegetables, burgers, pork dishes and savoury snacks.

Cornet Oaked - Alcohol Free Belgian Blond Beer

Rodenbach Fruitage 0.0% is a bright Belgian alcohol free fruit beer with a refreshing sweet and sour character. Made with 100% natural ingredients, it brings together rich red fruit flavour, gentle sweetness and Rodenbach’s fresh, lightly tart edge.
It is fruity, lively and very easy to drink, making it a great choice if you want something lighter and more refreshing than a standard beer. Expect cherry led red fruit, soft sweetness and a crisp finish that keeps it from feeling too heavy.

Rodenbach Fruitage 0.0% - Alcohol Free Belgian Fruit Beer

Zeven Zonden Avaritia is a Belgian low alcohol blond beer with a light, refreshing character and a surprisingly full flavour. Brewed by Hugel at The Brew Society, it is part of the Zeven Zonden range and brings a softer, more aromatic take on alcohol free Belgian beer.
It has a blond pour, gentle malt sweetness and a pleasant hop bitterness, with elderflower adding a fresh floral lift. The result is easy drinking but not dull, with enough Belgian character to make it feel more interesting than a standard lager.
Serve it chilled when you want something light, crisp and a little different. It works nicely with salads, chicken, white fish, creamy cheeses, BBQ food and savoury snacks.

Zeven Zonden Avaritia - Low Alcohol Belgian Blond Beer

Zeevonk Blond 0.4% is a Belgian alcohol free blond beer with a fresh, floral character and a smooth malt body. Based on Zeevonk Blond, it keeps the easy drinking feel of the original while bringing the alcohol down to 0.4%.
It pours blond, with a floral aroma, fresh lift and rounded malt flavour. The finish is clean and lingering, making it a good choice if you want something softer and more Belgian than a standard lager, but still light enough for easy drinking.
